چکیده

A broadband continuously tunable SESAM all-fiber laser based on optical parametric generation (OPG) for coherent anti-stokes Raman scattering (CARS) imaging applications is presented in this article. This structure built all-polarization maintaining fibers yielding high environmental stability. The OPG PM photonic crystal fiber as gain pumped by a wavelength-tunable (1025 to 1055 nm) and repetition rate-tunable (3 MHz 500 KHz) Yb-doped pulsed laser. features free polarization adjustment slow-axis operation with wavelength range from 770 940 nm signal radiation 1225 1510 idler radiation. pump pulses (CARS-Stokes CARS-pump respectively) are intrinsically overlapped, both spatially temporarily, due the four-wave mixing (FWM) emitted single end. CARS-Stokes pulse duration vary between 25 32 ps 21 24 ps, respectively whole band, ensuring good overlap of generated signals, exhibit Gaussian profile spatial beam quality. frequency conversion allows obtain difference signals 1100 3300 cm - 1 . reported low-cost source ideal bio-imaging applications, especially CARS imaging, its compactness, simplicity, robustness ease handling. patent has been filed technology.

All-fiber tunable filter and laser based on two-mode fiber.

We demonstrate an all-fiber acousto-optic tunable filter based on two-spatial-mode coupling, with improved ruggedness and efficiency, by using a new acoustic-transducer design. We use a rigorous modeling of the flexural acoustic wave to analyze the mode coupling with better accuracy. Using the acousto-optic tunable filter, we demonstrate a novel all-fiber tunable laser with a tuning range of mo...

Widely tunable Tm-doped mode-locked all-fiber laser

We demonstrated a widely tunable Tm-doped mode-locked all-fiber laser, with the widest tunable range of 136 nm, from 1842 to 1978 nm. Nonlinear polarization evolution (NPE) technique is employed to enable mode-locking and the wavelength-tunable operation. The widely tunable range attributes to the NPE-induced transmission modulation and bidirectional pumping mechanism. Such kind of tunable mode...

A broadband Ytterbium-doped tunable fiber laser for 3He optical pumping at 1083 nm

Large amounts of hyperpolarized He gas with high nuclear polarization rates are required for use in neutron spin filters or nuclear magnetic resonance imaging of human lung. Very high efficiency can be obtained by metastability exchange optical pumping using multimode lasers to excite the 2S-2P transition at 1083 nm. Broadband Ytterbium-doped tunable fiber lasers have been designed for that par...

All-Fiber Configuration Laser Self-Mixing Doppler Velocimeter Based on Distributed Feedback Fiber Laser

In this paper, a novel velocimeter based on laser self-mixing Doppler technology has been developed for speed measurement. The laser employed in our experiment is a distributed feedback (DFB) fiber laser, which is an all-fiber structure using only one Fiber Bragg Grating to realize optical feedback and wavelength selection. Self-mixing interference for optical velocity sensing is experimentally...

Wavelength-tunable, passively mode-locked fiber laser based on graphene and chirped fiber Bragg grating.

We demonstrate a wavelength-tunable, passively mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser based on graphene and chirped fiber Bragg grating. The saturable absorber used to enable passive mode-locking in the fiber laser is a section of microfiber covered by graphene film, which allows light-graphene interaction via the evanescent field of the microfiber. The wavelength of the laser can be continuously...
